My good friend Wilbur Pan and I will be there on Saturday afternoon (I’ll be there all day Saturday) and we will be talking hand tools from East & West. Be sure to stop by the booth and check out the club. I promise you won’t be sorry.
I’ll also be bringing my traveling tool chest and some hand saw sharpening supplies. I won’t be able to do full sharpenings at the show (I do have to man the booth and talk to folks about the club too
), but if you bring an old saw by the booth, I’ll show you how to sharpen it and do some sharpening demos too when bench space allows.
As an added bonus, Lee Valley Tools has generously donated a pair of Veritas carcass saws for our club to raffle off to any new member that joins the CJWA between the show this coming weekend and June. Hell, one of those saws alone is worth the annual dues.
So if you’re in the area, make sure to stop by and see us and check out some of the awesome work that members of the CJWA do. Better yet, join the club!

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday at the show and hearing all about the CJWA. I appreciate the time and effort that you put into your Blog and into spreading the word about hand tool woodworking.
I’ve considered joining the club. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a trek from Delaware.
I look forward to meeting you. There will be 4-5 of us from The Northeastern Woodworkers Association there Saturday, The Mid-Hudson Chapter.
